How we replace a cylinder

Cylinders come in different lengths, and the new one has to match the thickness of your door: too short and it will not reach, too long and it sticks out where it can be gripped. So we measure the existing cylinder first, then tell you the options and the price before taking anything apart.

The swap happens at the door and the lock body stays where it is. We test every new key with you, door open and closed, and hand all of them over. Need extra keys for family or a cleaner? Where the key profile allows, we can cut spares as well.

For holiday-let owners, a fresh cylinder at the start and end of the season is a simple way to be sure no former guest still has a working key.
